Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Charleston, SC is offering a hands-on 30-day trial for their Technician Development Program, with a path to an 18-month program. You’ll assist in basic auto body repairs under experienced technicians, learn tools, safety, and repair planning, and gain insight into collision repair processes.

We seek motivated individuals aged 18+, with a HS diploma or GED, some shop experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational training is a plus.
• Interest in automotive collision repair and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic auto body repairs under experienced technicians.
• Learn to use and maintain tools safely and efficiently.
• Participate in vehicle inspections and repair planning as directed.
