Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Sulphur, LA offers a 30‑day trial that qualifies you for an 18‑month Technician Development Program. You will work with an experienced technician to learn basic auto body repairs, dent removal, sanding and painting while gaining hands‑on experience in a supportive setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent; I‑CAR Gold Class is preferred. Starting pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Willingness to learn auto body repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic auto body repairs under supervision.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Participate in vehicle inspections and repair planning.
• Collaborate with team to meet timelines and quality standards.
