Gerber Collision & Glass is offering a hands-on trainee program in auto body repair in Sulphur, LA. The 30-day trial leads into an 18-month Technician Development Program with mentorship and progressive skill-building opportunity.

You will learn dent removal, sanding, painting, and how to inspect damages while working with experienced technicians to meet timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade or vocational school preferred.
• Some on-the-job experience preferred.
• I-CAR Gold Class preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic auto body repairs under supervision.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and plan repairs.
• Collaborate with team to complete repairs on time and to spec.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized workspace.
