Job summary

LPQ USA LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Le Pain Quotidien unit in New York. You will lead from the floor during service, coach leaders and team members, and partner with the General Manager to drive guest satisfaction and strong business results.

The role requires 2+ years of leadership in a full-service restaurant, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to balance service with financial performance while developing talent for future GM opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and guest service excellence.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and retain talent.
• Experience managing labor, sales, COGS, inventory, and forecasting.
• Ability to balance guest experience with financial performance.
• Desire to grow toward General Manager-level leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the floor during service, coaching in the moment.
• Own the guest experience from arrival to departure.
• Partner with the GM to recruit, onboard, develop, and retain the team.
• Oversee labor deployment and real-time decisions.
• Maintain brand standards for food quality, hospitality, cleanliness.
• Support inventory, food cost control, and purchasing decisions.
