Job summary

Convive Brands is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Le Pain Quotidien in Merrifield, VA. This hands-on leader partners with the General Manager to elevate service, manage people, and drive financial results while maintaining brand standards.

You will own labor deployment, coach leaders, and ensure top-notch hospitality across opening, service, and closing shifts. A NYC Food Handlers License is required; 2+ years of leadership is expected.

Qualifications

• You have at least 2+ years of leadership experience in a full-service restaurant or hospitality group.
• You can lead from the floor during service and inspire a team to deliver exceptional hospitality.
• You have experience managing labor, sales, COGS, inventory, and forecasting.
• NYC Food Handlers License is required to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the floor, coaching in the moment and ensuring guests receive exceptional hospitality.
• Own the guest experience and resolve concerns with empathy and urgency.
• Develop people and culture, building a high-performing team.
• Partner with the General Manager on recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
