Job summary
Sora Resource Group in West Bend, WI is seeking a dependable Hand Welder & Fabricator for 1st shift. You will weld by hand (MIG/TIG/Arc) on custom tool, die, and stamping components, perform finishing, grinding, and surface prep, and work with fixtures and prototypes.
This direct-hire role offers steady hours from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Mon-Fri) with optional Saturday overtime during peak production. The company is a family-owned metal stamping and finishing specialist with ISO 9001:2015
Qualifications
- Experience with hand welding, grinding, deburring, or shop fabrication preferred.
- Excellent attendance and reliability in a manufacturing environment.
- Team-oriented attitude with willingness to learn new fabrication techniques.
- Residence within 45 minutes driving distance of West Bend, WI.
- Authorized to work in the United States (Citizenship or Green Card).
Responsibilities
- Perform manual hand welding (MIG/TIG/Arc) on stampings, dies, fixtures, and prototypes.
- Grind, deburr, and finish welds; prepare surfaces for finishing.
- Visually inspect welds for ISO quality standards and specs.
- Set up and maintain welding fixtures and 5S-clean workstation.
- Support production goals with potential overtime during peak periods.
