Zusammenfassung

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and fabricate custom orthoses.

You will collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, therapists, and students to optimize outcomes and advance care. Prior experience in orthosis fabrication and post-surgical rehab is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license; CHT credential; CPR/BLS certification.

Aufgaben

• Assess patients and establish care plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
• Operate and document delivery of therapy services.
• Supervise OT Assistants and students.
• Design and fit custom orthoses and splints; educate on wear and care.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehabilitation; scar management and return-to-work.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other clinicians; participate in care planning.
