Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to deliver specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. The role includes patient evaluation, custom splinting, and developing recovery plans within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities cover orthotic fabrication, post-surgical rehab, edema and scar management, and return-to-work rehabilitation, with supervision of assistants and students.

Qualifications

• CHT credential required or planned
• 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab/outpatient therapy
• CPR/BLS current or equivalent
• Excellent documentation and team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and establish plan of care
• Provide hand/upper-extremity therapy and splinting
• Document delivery of therapy services
• Supervise OTAs, students and support staff
• Fabricate and educate on custom orthoses and splints
• Manage post-surgical and injury rehabilitation and wound care
• Collaborate with surgeons and other clinicians
