Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, design custom splints, and develop recovery plans in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include supervising OTAs and students, fabricating orthoses, and collaborating with hand surgeons and therapists to optimize outcomes for orthopedic and post-surgical patients.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or OD Doctorate preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license; CHT credential; CPR/BLS.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to patient age and disability.
• Directs and supervises OTAs, students, and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom hand/upper-extremity orthoses.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals; participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
