Job summary

Eden Capital Careers seeks an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon for a full-time role in Hobart, IN. The surgeon will design a practice around professional goals within a premier, tech-forward environment.

Responsibilities include comprehensive hand and upper-extremity care, with a 1:6 call rotation and a 30-patient daily clinic load. Proficiency in EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in orthopedic surgery.
• Experience with hand and upper-extremity procedures is preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow conditions.
• Clinic load: ~30 patients per day.
• Handle 1:6 call rotation.
• Perform complex hand and upper-extremity surgeries including tendon repairs and nerve decompression.
• Conduct evaluations for chronic conditions like arthritis and Dupuytren's contracture.
• Manage acute upper-extremity trauma with possible revascularization/replantation.
• Utilize arthroscopic techniques for wrist and small joints.
