Job summary

Orthopedics - Hand position in Hobart, IN within a premier healthcare provider offering a flexible Monday–Friday schedule and strong work-life balance. Board-certified orthopedist preferred; Indiana license and CSR/DEA registration required.

Experience with EPIC EMR and arthroscopic techniques is advisable. The role combines surgical and clinical duties, with opportunities for research and professional growth, and a compensation package aligned with MGMA benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Eligibility for Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA
• Experience with arthroscopic techniques
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong collaboration with athletic trainers and physical therapists

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow care
• Clinic 30 patients per day and participate in 1:6 call rotation
• Perform complex hand/upper extremity surgeries including tendon repairs
• Evaluate chronic conditions such as arthritis and Dupuytren's contracture
• Manage acute upper extremity trauma with possible revascularization
• Utilize minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques for wrist procedures
