Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC in Hobart, IN seeks a hand-focused orthopedic surgeon to join a well-established, tech-forward health system. The role offers full-time hours Monday–Friday with a flexible work schedule and a structure designed to sustain physician well-being and work-life balance.

You will perform complex hand and upper-extremity procedures, lead evaluations, and collaborate with athletic trainers and therapists in a high-quality, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Indiana Medical License in good standing and CSR/DEA registration.
• Proficiency in general orthopedic procedures and arthroscopic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for hand, wrist, forearm and elbow conditions.
• Clinic 30 patients per day with 1:6 call rotation.
• Perform complex hand and upper-extremity surgeries including tendon repairs and nerve decompression.
• Evaluate chronic conditions such as arthritis and Dupuytren's contracture.
• Manage acute upper extremity trauma including revascularization and replantation.
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive and arthroscopic wrist procedures.
