Job summary

KingRecruitingServices invites a Board Certified/Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our Hand team in Hobart, IN. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a flexible approach, designed to align with your professional goals within a premier healthcare setting.

You will treat hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow conditions, perform complex surgeries, and collaborate with athletic trainers and therapists in a tech-forward environment, including EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
Unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration.
Proficiency in general orthopedic procedures and arthroscopic techniques.
Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
Strong interpersonal collaboration with athletic trainers and physical therapists.

Responsibilities

Provide surgical and non-surgical care for hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow conditions.
Clinic volume guidance: approximately 30 patients per day.
Maintain call rotation: 1:6.
Perform complex hand/upper extremity surgeries, including tendon repairs and nerve decompression.
Evaluate chronic conditions such as arthritis and Dupuytren's contracture.
Manage acute upper extremity trauma with potential revascularization/replantation.
Utilize minimally invasive and arthroscopic wrist procedures.
