Job summary

Quay Group is seeking a reliable Property Manager / Houseman to support year-round care of a Hamptons residence. You will work closely with the Estate Manager to keep the property fully operational, secure, and ready for the family at all times.

This on-site role requires practical, observant, and proactive hands-on skills, with a focus on preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, and high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in private estates or high-end residential properties is preferred.
• Proven handyman and maintenance capabilities.
• Strong preventative maintenance knowledge and proactive problem solving.
• Ability to work with vendors, contractors, and tradespeople.
• Reliable, discreet, and trustworthy with good references.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular property walkthroughs and routine maintenance checks.
• Monitor household systems and identify issues before they escalate.
• Ensure equipment and systems are functioning correctly; perform minor repairs.
• Assist with deliveries, installations, and estate projects as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors and provide access when required.
• Ensure the residence is secure, organized, and ready for the family’s arrival.
