Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Benson, North Carolina, is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll help them build confidence, gain independence, and reach personal goals in a caring, community-based setting.

Responsibilities include facilitating participation in community activities, offering companionship, assisting with personal care, and transporting clients to appointments.

We are currently hiring part-time Direct Support Professionals in Benson and Wake County!

What You'll Do

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible

Pay & Schedule

• $16 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Flexible part-time schedules
• Multiple shifts available

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to appointments and activities
