Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in North Carolina is seeking part-time Special Needs Caregivers (DSPs) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them gain confidence and independence.

You'll assist with community activities, offer companionship, support daily care, and transport clients to appointments, with opportunities for career growth and flexible shifts close to home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events.
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship.
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings.
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible.

• Jonesville, NC

What You'll Do as a Special Needs Caregiver:

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible

Pay & Schedule

$16.00/hr.

• Weekly pay
• Flexible part-time schedules

What We're Looking For in a Special Needs Caregiver:
