Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to work one-on-one in homes and communities, supporting individuals with disabilities. You’ll serve as a mentor, advocate, and steady presence, helping people gain independence and life skills.

Starting at $18/hour with flexible PRN shifts and mileage reimbursement within a supportive team that values growth, recognition, and a commitment to person-centered care.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and locations
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to activities
• Willingness to travel between clients within your assigned area

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines like dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Engage in hobbies, activities, and meaningful social interaction
• Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation

What We’re Looking For in Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP):

• 1+ year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and locations
