Job summary

Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center, Ft Worth is seeking a Surgical Technologist 2 to support the operating room and surgical team, scrub into procedures, and ensure instrument readiness for cases.

4 ten-hour shifts per week with call required; this role supports a safe, efficient operating environment and offers opportunities for professional growth within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Current CST certification or eligibility (NBSTSA/NCCT) is expected.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Discuss any special needs with the surgeon before surgery and scrub into the procedure.
• Prepare the operative site and aseptically clean/patient clip as needed.
• Prepare and maintain the instrument table, ensuring correct counts and organization.
• Ensure proper functioning of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies during procedures.
• Assist with draping, patient positioning, and handling surgical specimens.
• Follow infection control policies and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
