Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Surgical Technologist 2 to support the operating room team under a Registered Nurse's supervision. You will scrub into procedures, prepare instrumentation, and ensure sterility and proper setup for each case.

Ideal candidates will have graduate of an accredited surgical technology program, completion of a formal tech training, and certification (CST) with NBSTSA or equivalent, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Education: Grad of an Accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Experience: Less than 1 Year of Experience.
• Certification/License: BLS required; CST certification NBSTSA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Scrub into surgery and prepare instruments.
• Ensure aseptic setup of operating room and instrument tables.
• Perform instrument counts and assist with patient positioning.
• Receive specimens and handle sterile draping and dressings.
• Follow infection control policies and regulatory guidelines.
