• Discuss special needs with surgeon and scrub in before procedure.
• Prepare operative site and aseptically clean patient.
• Set up instrument table and verify correct instrument counts.
• Identify damaged or incomplete trays and rectify discrepancies.
• Ensure proper functioning of instruments and equipment during surgery.
• Assist with draping, patient positioning, and specimen handling.
• Disassemble instruments and decontaminate after case; maintain sterile field.
