Job summary

EōS Fitness in Goleta, CA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the Sales team, drive membership growth, and oversee day-to-day gym operations. You will connect with prospective members, facilitate their membership journey, and ensure their success within a dynamic team environment.

The role emphasizes sales leadership, customer service excellence, and adherence to health and safety standards, with responsibilities spanning billing, inquiries, and staff supervision.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience.
• 3-4 years of sales experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, for interacting with employees, management, and vendors.
• Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and in all functions.
• Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; and good time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent MS Office skills.
• Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and train the Sales team to create a fun atmosphere and be the hub for information for members, guests, and staff.
• Ensure sales targets are met by leading the team and driving sales initiatives.
• Oversee the billing processes for memberships and follow up with leads and prospects.
• Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff clearly.
• Supervise facility maintenance, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
• Address member concerns and manage inquiries to ensure high-quality service.
• Engage with members, listen to needs, and provide helpful responses.
• Communicate calmly with staff and members during emergencies or disruptions.
