Job summary

Core Development and Management-Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee gym operations and deliver a Judgement Free Zone experience while driving club profitability.

The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with potential nights, weekends, holidays, and travel to support business needs. You will lead a team of Member Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians and ensure outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service
• Previous management experience is preferred
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite)

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff consisting of Member Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians.
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members and guests and ensuring staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
• Assist with Staff Management and provide backup support to Club Manager as needed.
• Involved in all front desk related activities including: answer phones, check members into the system, new member sign-up, and giving tours.
