Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee gym operations and provide a standout Judgement Free Zone experience. You will lead front desk activities, support staff training, and help drive member satisfaction across daily operations.

The role requires a strong service mindset, leadership ability, and excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Previous management experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing gym operations to ensure a strong member experience.
• Help recruit, hire, train, and develop staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.
• Schedule and supervise staff; back up Club Manager when needed.
• Oversee front desk activities: check-ins, tours, sign-ups.
• Manage supplies, budget-based purchasing, and maintenance.
• Track weekly, monthly, and annual statistics.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships while upholding CORE values.
