Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a proactive Assistant Manager to oversee gym operations and deliver a premier Judgement Free Zone experience. You will help manage a team, assist in recruitment and training, and ensure top-notch member service while supporting sales and club performance.

You will work a full-time schedule (approx. 40 hours per week), including potential nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs. Prior supervisory experience is preferred and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others and delivering excellent service.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club targets.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure top customer service.
• Oversee staff management and provide backup to Club Manager.
• Handle front desk duties including member check-ins and tours.
• Support cleanliness, supplies, and facility maintenance.
• Track club statistics and reports on a weekly/monthly/annual basis.
