Job summary

PF Management Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to support gym operations and deliver a exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience while helping the club stay financially successful.

You will assist in recruiting, training, scheduling staff, overseeing member services, front desk duties, and coordinating maintenance and supplies, reporting statistics and providing backup support to the Club Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills, preferably in fitness.
• Experience as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness or similar gym.
• Strong supervisory, diplomacy and listening abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
• Energetic, hard-working and proactive attitude.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests with superior service.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and assist with staff management.
• Schedule and supervise staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee member services and ensure exceptional customer experience.
• Resolve or escalate employee issues as needed.
• Handle front desk duties: answer phones, check in members, sign up new members, give tours.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and supplies.
• Track statistics and prepare reports weekly, monthly and annually.
