Job summary

Planet Fitness in Washington is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee daily gym operations and deliver a premier 'Judgement Free' member experience while driving club performance.

You will lead front desk, member services, staffing, and training; manage schedules, assist in achieving sales goals, and ensure a welcoming, clean facility. 18+ with strong communication, leadership, and customer service; CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• CPR Certification preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Confident problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members and guests and ensuring staff follow superior customer service guidelines.
• Assist with Staff Management and provide backup support to Club Manager as needed.
• Assist in scheduling and supervising staff.
• Member service oversight – Ensuring staff is providing a superior customer experience at all times.
• Assist in resolving or escalating employee issues or concerns.
• Involved in all front desk related activities including: answering phones, check-ins, tours, and member requests.
