Job summary

YouFit Gyms in the United States is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily operations, drive membership growth, and ensure outstanding member experiences. You will mentor the front desk and sales team, develop staff, and manage labor and costs while supporting the General Manager when needed.

The AGM will execute company initiatives, uphold YouFit’s service standards, and contribute to club performance through coaching, training, and compliant operations across all gym

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Fluency in reading, speaking, and writing English.
• Available to work Sunday through Thursday.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a management or leadership role in fitness, hospitality, sales, or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver exceptional member experiences.
• Train and develop team to meet sales, service, and operational goals.
• Support membership sales growth and personal training awareness.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new staff.
• Oversee daily gym operations when the GM is unavailable.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and address maintenance needs.
• Monitor cash handling and deposits, reconcile daily money.
• Use CRM to engage members and track performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with policies and operational guidelines.
• Support marketing efforts and community initiatives.
