Job summary

YouFit Gyms is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Florida to lead daily gym operations, drive membership sales, and mentor a front desk team. You will ensure service excellence, manage staff development, and uphold YouFit’s standards in a fast-paced club environment.

The AGM will partner with the GM to optimize performance and member satisfaction. Ideal candidates bring leadership experience in fitness or customer service, strong English communication, and the ability to manage schedules,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a management or leadership role within a fitness, hospitality, sales, or customer service setting.
• Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing in English.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Willingness to work Sunday through Thursday; availability for business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and uphold customer service standards to ensure an exceptional member experience.
• Train and develop team members to meet sales, service, and operational goals while maintaining high standards.
• Support membership sales and personal training growth through effective sales strategies.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees to build a high-performing team.
• Oversee daily gym operations when the General Manager is unavailable.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and address issues with regular inspections and work orders.
• Monitor cash handling, daily reconciliations, and deposits.
• Utilize CRM systems to engage and retain members and track performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, sales procedures, and operational guidelines.
