Job summary

YouFit Gyms is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Deerfield Beach to lead daily operations, coach the front desk and sales teams, and drive membership growth and retention. You will partner with the GM to manage service quality, staff development, and adherence to company standards across all gym functions.

The AGM will actively support sales initiatives, manage training, and ensure smooth operations while upholding YouFit's competitive benefits and customer-first culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Fluent reading, speaking, and writing in English; multilingual skills preferred.
• Available to work Sunday through Thursday; flexible for business needs.
• Minimum 6 months in a management or leadership role in fitness, hospitality, sales, or customer service.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team to drive sales, service, and operational success.
• Experience in customer service, operations, or sales management with focus on member experience.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage labor, inventory, and operational costs to support growth.
• Ability to execute company initiatives and uphold compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and uphold customer service standards for an exceptional member experience.
• Train and develop team members to meet sales, service, and operational goals.
• Support membership sales and personal training growth by educating members on services.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
• Oversee daily gym operations and act as primary leader when GM is unavailable.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and maintenance with regular inspections and work orders.
• Monitor cash handling, daily reconciliations, and deposits tracking.
• Utilize CRM systems to maintain member engagement and retention metrics.
• Ensure compliance with policies, sales procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Support gym marketing efforts, promotions, and community engagement to drive participation.
