Job summary

Gold's Gyms Of The Carolinas is seeking a Front Desk Associate in Greer, SC to greet members, manage check-ins, handle inquiries, and support gym operations with professional service and a friendly disposition.

You will manage guest registrations, route calls to fitness consultants, and assist with basic administrative tasks while upholding safety and company standards. This role includes sales of retail items and participation in staff meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and members.
• Ability to communicate verbally, non-verbally and in writing.
• Comfort with basic cash handling and accounting concepts.
• Functional computer skills and familiarity with registration systems.
• Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, guests and staff and direct them appropriately.
• Check members in using proper procedures.
• Monitor check-ins and assist with delinquent accounts as needed.
• Register guests and direct them to fitness consultants.
• Answer and route phone calls professionally and promptly.
• Handle retail/sales transactions and maintain cleanliness.
• Attend staff meetings and follow opening/closing procedures.
• Report safety concerns and incidents to management.
