Job summary

Gold's Gyms Of The Carolinas in Burlington, NC is seeking a Front Desk Sales Associate to greet members and guests, answer inquiries, and handle front door operations with professionalism. You will process check-ins, registrations, phone calls, and basic retail duties, while upholding gym policies and safety standards.

The role requires excellent customer service, multi-tasking, and a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and members.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally, non-verbally and in writing is required.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles is required.
• Understanding of basic cash processing procedures is required.
• Functional computer skills are required.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule to include holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests promptly to create a friendly entrance and departure.
• Provide security and control to the front door and retail area.
• Check in members using proper procedures.
• Monitor check-ins and notify supervisor of delinquent accounts.
• Register guests and direct to fitness consultants.
• Answer phones professionally and take messages as needed.
• Log telephone inquiries and transfer calls to the appropriate staff.
• Follow up on inquiries to ensure appointments are booked.
• Maintain neat appearance and wear uniform with nametag.
