Job summary

Gold's Gyms Of The Carolinas is seeking a Front Desk Associate to greet members, manage check-ins, handle inquiries, and support gym operations at the Cornelius location. As the first point of contact, you will deliver friendly service, process memberships and visits, and coordinate with the fitness team to ensure a smooth experience for guests and members.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and members.
• Understanding of basic cashiering and cash processing procedures.
• Functional computer skills are required.
• Must be able to multi-task and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, guests and staff as they enter the gym and manage front door control.
• Check-in members and register guests using proper procedures.
• Direct guests to appropriate fitness consultants and handle inquiries.
• Answer and route phone calls professionally and document inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize the front desk and smoothie bar area.
• Assist with light cleaning, stocking, and inventory as needed.
• Operate smoothie machines and ensure the smoothie bar area is clean and stocked.
• Follow opening/closing procedures and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Attend staff meetings and uphold company policies and values.
