Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a superior, Judgment Free member experience. The role involves leading staff, driving sales, and maintaining a welcoming club environment.

You will support scheduling, training, and daily desk activities while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and member service. This full-time position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others.
• Commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
• Current CPR Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing gym operations to ensure a welcoming, Judgment Free Zone.
• Meet or exceed individual and club sales goals.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high-performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure superior customer service.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and schedule staff.
• Handle front desk tasks: check-ins, tours, inquiries, and member questions.
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
• Assist with supplies, budgets, and monthly/weekly statistics.
