Job summary

Zifo is seeking a Lab Computing Analyst to provide technical laboratory services, including multivendor instrument and IT support, with regular client-site presence in the Southeast U.S.

You will work with customers and the internal Zifo team to analyze needs, validate systems, and ensure compliance, documenting procedures and maintaining inventories.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and safety practices, with opportunities to contribute to innovative lab environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or life sciences or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant technical experience with Windows, networking, remote computing, and backup systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex instrument and technology issues.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices per site rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support of customer laboratory environments, including computers integrated with instrumentation.
• Manage lab computing aspects for installing, retiring, and relocating equipment.
• Implement Windows-based security measures.
• Ensure adherence to client policies through reporting and compliance programs.
• Serve as the technical contact for field service engineers and external vendors.
• Provide SME input for system validation and change management.
• Document procedures, troubleshooting steps and best practices.
• Create and maintain inventory of lab equipment, PCs, software, and related information.
• Perform preventative maintenance per client schedule.
