Job summary

Zifo is seeking a Lab Computing Analyst to provide technical laboratory services, including multivendor instrument IT and validation/compliance support, at client sites. You will work with business users and the internal Zifo support team to analyze needs and propose solutions for the desired state.

The role involves implementing Windows security, maintaining lab computing assets, and ensuring adherence to client policies, while coordinating with field service engineers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with ability to listen and interpret client requests.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex instrument and technology issues.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify, track and complete tasks for multiple projects.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices as defined by the company and/or customer site safety code.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support of customer laboratory environments, typically for computers integrated with instrumentation.
• Manage lab computing aspects of installing, retiring and relocating equipment.
• Implement Windows-based security.
• Ensure adherence to client’s corporate policies through periodic reporting and compliance programs.
• Act as the technical support contact for field service engineers and external vendors.
• Provide SME for new system validation and change management efforts.
• Document procedures, policies, troubleshooting and best practices.
• Create and maintain a physical inventory of lab equipment, PCs and software.
