Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-time Sales Outfitter - Firearms to maintain counter sales and customer service for firearms and hunting merchandise. You will greet customers, assess needs, recommend products, and support gun counter operations with knowledge of 4473 forms and safety procedures.

The role requires 0–2 years retail experience, a high school diploma, and 21+ to comply with firearm regulations. Minor lifting and standing duties apply with a team-oriented, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with firearms and ammunition.
• Familiarity with ATF federal and state regulations.
• Strong customer service and sales skills for firearms and ammo.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly to identify needs and make product recommendations.
• Perform and explain 4473 forms with accuracy.
• Demonstrate firearms and ammunition to customers as needed.
• Maintain firearms and hunting merchandise on the floor and at the gun counter.
• Keep pricing, signage, and stock up-to-date and organized.
