Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Sales Outfitter - Firearms to provide expert service at the gun counter and assist with floor sales of hunting merchandise. You will greet customers, assess needs, demonstrate products, complete 4473 forms, and promote store programs while maintaining a safe and compliant selling environment.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, 0-2 years retail experience, and knowledge of firearm and ammunition products, ATF regulations, and sales best practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with firearms and ammunition products
• Knowledge of ATF federal and state regulations
• Customer service and sales of firearms and ammunition
• GCA
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a prompt and friendly manner
• Identify customer needs and make product recommendations
• Process 4473 forms accurately and completely
• Demonstrate products to customers as needed
• Maintain clean, organized gun counter and shelves per guidelines
• Stay informed on advertised sales, pricing and signing
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves
• Perform all other duties as assigned
