Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Sales Outfitter - Firearms to maintain counter sales and customer service for firearms and related hunting merchandise. The role involves greeting customers, assessing needs, and recommending products while ensuring compliance with 4473 forms and federal/state regulations.

You will demonstrate products and keep the gun counter well-organized and stocked. Experience in retail with firearms knowledge is preferred; 21+ required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Firearms and Ammunition products.
• Knowledge of ATF Federal and State regulations (GCA).
• Customer service and sales of firearms and ammunition.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a prompt, professional manner.
• Identify customer needs and provide product recommendations.
• Explain and promote programs (CLUB membership, VOC, in-store pickup).
• Ensure 4473 forms are completed accurately.
• Demonstrate products and maintain gun counter displays.
• Keep merchandise organized and shelves stocked; follow merchandising guidelines.
