Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Subsystem Electrical Engineer II to join the Advanced Effector Guidance Systems Team. You will help integrate and validate guidance electronics, mentor junior engineers, and support hardware development through testing and analysis.

The role requires a BS in STEM and 2+ years of relevant experience, with active DoD security clearance eligibility. You will collaborate across disciplines and participate in program reviews, design reviews, and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience with electrical hardware development and/or testing.
• Experience in sub-systems, systems engineering requirements development and verification/validation.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and validate electronics design during development, including testing hardware and analyzing results.
• Develop subsystem requirements and test plans, and perform root-cause analysis of failures.
• Collaborate with design teams and missile-level engineers to support hardware handoff and integration.
