RTX’s Advanced Effector Guidance Systems Team in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Subsystem Electrical Engineer II to join onsite for testing and integration of guidance electronics. You’ll validate hardware, write subsystem requirements, and coordinate with design, program teams and suppliers to support development milestones.

The role requires a STEM bachelor’s and 2+ years of relevant experience, active U.S. security clearance eligibility, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with electrical hardware development and/or testing.
• Experience in sub-systems, requirements development and/or validation.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and validate electronics during development; analyze hardware designs.
• Develop subsystem requirements and test plans; perform peer reviews and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with design teams and missile-level engineers; support hardware handoff.
