Job summary

RTX's Advanced Effector Guidance Systems department seeks a Subsystem Electrical Engineer II to join our Tucson, AZ team. You will focus on testing and integrating guidance electronics, resolving failures, and supporting hardware handoffs across the development lifecycle.

The role involves office and lab work with some travel, collaboration with system engineers and government customers, and mentoring within a culture that values engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience with electrical hardware development and/or testing.
• Experience in subsystems, systems engineering requirements development and/or validation.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and validate electronics during the development phase.
• Develop subsystem requirements and test plans; conduct peer reviews.
• Collaborate with design teams, government customers, and suppliers.
