Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Supervisor to lead store staff and organize work processes under management guidance. The role focuses on guest experience, safe and accurate cash handling, and maintaining high store standards.

The GSS will greet guests, coach employees, and ensure policy adherence while supporting a 24/7 guest service program and vendor coordination in a busy Albany store.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends or holidays.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Strong guest service, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees to ensure they perform all duties directed by management.
• Coach employees by giving constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale and maintain cash levels.
• Ensure housekeeping and 24/7 guest service programs are followed.
• Handle cash processes including deposits, lottery, gift cards and checks where applicable.
• Keep products stocked and address guest inquiries and complaints.
• Check in external and internal vendors according to guidelines.
