Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Supervisor (GSS) to lead store staff, ensure smooth operations, and deliver a welcoming shopping experience for guests. You will supervise daily tasks, coach employees, and maintain POS and cash processes according to corporate standards.

Flexible hours may apply; the role requires at least a high school diploma, strong people skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Supervise staff and ensure duties are performed as directed by management.
• Provide coaching to employees to improve task performance.
• Greet guests and maintain a welcoming shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees making sure they are performing all the job duties implemented by management.
• Coaching employees by giving them constructive feedback to help perform certain tasks.
• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash levels.
• Ensure all store housekeeping functions are completed.
• Ensure the 24/7 execution of all guest service programs and processes.
• Responsible for all cash processes which includes deposit preparation, lottery, gift cards, and checks where applicable.
• Always replenishes products to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Address inquiries and complaints from guests.
