Job summary

Navy Inn Bangor, operated by Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM), seeks a Guest Service Supervisor to manage front desk operations and reservations for a Navy lodging facility in Silverdale, WA. You will coordinate room assignments, cashiering, and guest services while leading a team and ensuring guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, attention to security, and familiarity with PMS systems to support occupancy and revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 1 year of administrative or related experience in a professional setting.
• Education in hotel lodging hospitality may substitute for experience at a 1:2 ratio.
• Specialized experience in front office operations or guest services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises front desk operations and reservations to maximize occupancy.
• Interacts with guests, answers questions, and handles complaints with management review.
• Plans and schedules daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks for front desk staff.
• Trains and supervises front desk personnel in training and on-the-job settings.
• Reviews reports (occupancy, audits) and ensures accuracy and accountability.
• Ensures adherence to procedures and proper use of PMS and key card systems.
• Maintains inventory controls and keeps front desk area clean and organized.
