This position assists the Guest Service Manager in overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the front desk, maximizing profitability, and ensuring high guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include delegating tasks, providing training and support to front desk staff, and ensuring smooth operations.

Starting pay: $18 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, service-oriented interactions with guests and staff.
  • Ensure timely and professional handling of messages, packages, and mail.
  • Maintain knowledge of rates, packages, and promotions.
  • Assist with emergency procedures and oversee guest check-in/out processes.
  • Run room status reports and relay information to relevant departments.
  • Monitor hotel security and respond to guest inquiries professionally.
  • Assist in training new and current employees, and attend meetings/training as required.
Skills Required
  • Leadership, problem-solving, computer skills, high-level customer service, effective communication, ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, attention to detail, and composure under pressure.
Experience / Education
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience preferred; knowledge of bookkeeping and audit procedures helpful; high school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Demands
  • Extended walking, standing, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations are available.
