Supervisor, EMR Remote Operations - Global Operations

The Global Operations Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the global HIS staff. The role focuses on global operations management, training, and ensuring processes are completed in compliance with established guidelines. This role may also assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental projects. The role provides support to the Global Health Information Operations Manager. The Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining workflow and productivity of the global HIS team and handling escalations.

This position requires travel to India for at least two weeks once per quarter.

Responsibilities include:

• Becoming a knowledge expert for global partners
• Leading training for global associates
• Generating reports for global partners, management, and clients
• Overseeing Quality Assurance for global partners
• Leading recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of staff
• Developing and managing workflows for various clients
• Updating Standard Operating Procedures with global partners
• Informing senior leadership of issues, opportunities, or challenges
• Managing multiple projects
• Building relationships with cross-functional teams
• Developing Corrective Action Plans and staff development
• Participating in project teams and committees
• Maintaining confidentiality and security of privileged information
• Ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards and safeguarding patient records
• Handling tasks as directed by the Health Information Operations Manager

Minimum qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Willingness to travel globally
• At least 2 years of experience in Health Information, 3+ preferred
• Ability to lead projects and processes
• Proficiency with phones and office equipment
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Attention to detail and compliance
• Experience with production/metric-based work preferred
• Ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Effective delegation skills
