Gallagher Bassett Technical Services, a division of Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc., is seeking a qualified safety professional to join our Construction Site Safety Operations team. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively on active roadway construction sites, focusing on utility work. Responsibilities include identifying safety hazards, monitoring safety compliance, and delivering detailed daily reports on time.

Position Summary:
  • Reports to the Director of Safety Field Operations; primarily a remote position.
  • Ensure client sites comply with safety standards, including fire/life safety, safety training, certifications, emergency procedures, and risk management.
  • Understand construction activities and associated safety, health, and security implications.
  • Prepare daily safety inspection reports, conduct weekly safety meetings, site orientations, and coordinate safety efforts with contractors and personnel.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED with effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
  • Completion of the 10-hour or 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety & Health Course (29 CFR 1926).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work on your feet for long periods, lift 50-60 pounds, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Availability for occasional off-shift and weekend work.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of safety experience in commercial construction.
  • Completion of the 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety & Health Course.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and local building codes.
  • Excellent observation skills.
  • Multilingual abilities.
  • Candidate located in the Hillsboro County, FL area preferred.

  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and be punctual.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects and preparing reports.
