Job summary

Safari Island Community Center is seeking a Guest Services Team Member to be the first point of contact for guests, delivering superior service and deep knowledge of the center’s programs.

The role requires greeting guests, processing registrations, handling payments, answering questions, and maintaining accurate records. A collaborative, customer-focused team environment and flexible availability are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have excellent guest service skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to multi-task and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Must work well with others and be a team player.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to engage with guests of all ages from pre-school through adult.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide information and wayfinding as needed.
• Register guests and process payments for leagues, camps, clinics, drop-in, etc.
• Be knowledgeable about facility programs (format, pricing, meeting dates/times).
• Operate multi-line phones and record waivers and event information.
• Record event scores (tournaments/leagues) and print game sheets daily.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and team member information.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally or direct to the appropriate Manager.
• Enforce venue policies and procedures and complete special projects as assigned.
