Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to welcome guests, answer phones, process check-ins/outs, and collect payments in line with company guidelines.

The role requires strong English communication, proficiency with the PMS system, and a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction. You will also assist with breakfast setup and maintain a clean front desk area while promoting ESA value to guests.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English with guests, associates and vendors.
• Proficient operation of the property management system.
• Understand and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Perform basic arithmetic and keep accurate records.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Resolve guest issues using Make it Right process.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check-in/check-out, and collect payment per guidelines.
• Process reservations and registrations and handle departures.
• Maintain cash, credit card and city ledger records.
• Set up and break down breakfast display in a timely manner.
• Keep front desk, lobby, and common areas clean and organized.
• Highlight ESA value to inquiries and convert to reservations.
• Collect guest information and identify sales opportunities.
• Provide accommodations for guest requests wherever possible.
• Adhere to safety, security policies and reporting requirements.
