Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Front Office Agent to deliver attentive and courteous service at check-in, during the stay, and at checkout. You will work to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction while handling inquiries and routine front desk operations with accuracy.

The role requires a friendly demeanor, solid computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Prior hospitality experience is preferred, and regular attendance is expected as part of Highgate Hotel

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field is helpful but not required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively and maintain a friendly demeanor.
• Must multitask and prioritize duties to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out politely and efficiently.
• Answer inquiries about local restaurants, transportation, and entertainment.
• Follow cash handling and credit policies and stay aware of rates and promotions.
• Operate the front desk computer system and support daily shift tasks.
• Balance and prepare shift paperwork and reports.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk area and support guest programs.
